Does diet soda cause diabetes?

They have not found that diet soda causes diabetes.
They seem to connect people eating more who drink diet soda, and that is either psychological or that it makes you hungry. It seems to lower metabolism, so you burn less calories in living. It seems to link to a precursor of insulin production. They can’t prove diet soda is bad. There is also evidence that the phosphoric acid in diet colas causes weight gain.
    It is very unclear.
What is clear, is that water is better for you. And, even with a little fruit juice in club soda or seltzer, I would rather have those few calories than an artificial sweetener.
