Diabetes diet question?

I believe I either have diabetes or have pre-diabetes. I scheduled an appointment in three days for an exam, but until then, I need to know what to do in case I have diabetes.

I already exercise each and every day, but have a terrible diet. I eat A LOT of sugar. What should I eat until the appointment that could help with controlling my blood sugar levels?

I haven’t tested my blood sugar yet, but I have the symptoms of Type 2: Excessive hunger and urination, loss of feeling and painful tingling in my left hand, fatigue, and blurred vision. I’ve had the belief of me having diabetes for two years now, but never got it checked, I’m getting myself checked now because it’s extremely bad.

  1. gangadharan nair says:

    Undergo HbA1c test. HbA1c is a lab test that shows the average level of blood sugar (glucose) over the previous 3 months.
    An HbA1c of 5.6% or less is normal.
    The following are the results when the HbA1c is being used to diagnose diabetes:–
    * Normal: Less than 5.7%
    * Pre-diabetes: 5.7% to 6.4%
    * Diabetes: 6.5% or higher
