Diabetes and dieting?

I have had diabetes for about 14 years now. I have never been "over weight" however right now I weigh the most I ever have. I know I have to change up my eating habits but in the mean time I was thinking about taking diet pills. Is there a diet pill that someone can recommend for a Type 1 diabetic? Thanks in advance.

Type1′s tend to battle weight more than others because of the spikes of insulin we infuse, which seems to increase the "holding" of fat in the body. But I’ve had great success with Weight Watchers…I lost 25 lbs. a few years ago and gained a few back in the last year, so I’ve rejoined the online version – it’s about $20/month and it’s great. I like it because I can eat normal foods but it helps me keep portions low and make better choices and teaches you how to eat for the rest of your life. Most diet pills have ingredients that can make you feel speedy, but some people have had success with Hoodia as an appetite suppresant, you can try that first but it’s expensive.
